I have lived my entire life in the beautiful landscape of the Ozarks. My youth consisted of baseball, leaf piles, snowball fights, classic cars and good old Americana. The creative bug was instilled in me from birth; my dad has been a woodcarver for all of my life and my mother is a singer. Both of my grandmothers are artists, whether it be with a pencil or a paintbrush, and my grandfather will play anything with strings. You could say artistic and emotional expression has been a big part of my life. Whether it was writing, painting, acting and singing on stage or my small stint as a hair stylist (yeah), I have been on a quest to find that perfect outlet to make an impact in the beauty of this life. It was not until my daughter was born that I finally found my soul mate of creativity. We decided to get a decent camera to chronicle her early stages and that is when it all clicked. When I looked through that viewfinder and pushed the button... I was hooked. I was able to stop and see the true magic of a moment. One second of our lives can create one of the greatest memories we will ever experience. Several years, five cameras and countless hours of training and shooting later, here we are. I am more passionate and inspired than ever and my drive continues to grow everyday. My family is my life; we love baseball, ice cream, road trips and any kind of adventure. They show me new ways to love on a daily basis and inspire me constantly. Without their love and support, and the openness of old friends and new friends, this would not be possible. I am forever grateful that I am asked to be a small part of people's lives and I take that gratefulness and apply it to every session and every interaction.
